I would consider Dee’s a must do for anyone that comes to Nashville solo. Excellent first bar experience for my first time in Nashville. The crowd is extremely friendly and the bartenders are quick to serve and friendly. I came by myself on a Sunday night and enjoyed some pulled pork tacos and dirty fries. Music was good and lively. More crowded than you’d expect for a Sunday evening (not a bad thing).
This is such a cool and laid back dive in every sense of the word. Being new to Nashville I did my due diligence and spoke to many native Nashvillians and Dee's was recommended by every single one. Obviously, we were looking for the real Nashville dive bar music experience and Dee's did not disappoint!
I LOVE this place. The music venues are top-notch. My all-time favorites are East Nash Grass and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes
Had a great time here. Good crowd, great bar, great live music (Shirt Tuckers, Alicia Blue, and Mose Wilson). Had brisket available, but had already had supper before we arrived.
Dee's is the kind of place you can run into the artist you were listening to on the way there. Classic films such as Princess Bride and Step Brothers grace the screen behind the bar. Bluegrass Monday is a must. NA drinks and an 11 BBQ sammy tallied up to just 20. Immaculate vibes.

Dee's is one of two places we went for music during our 36 hours in Nashville (the other being East Side Bowl for Honky Tonk Tuesday) at the recommendation of musician-friend residents. Incredible time! Great music (Jon Byrd), friendly vibe, great drink options. Skip the Broadway tourist scene and visit this place instead!
